Business Support
North Devon's businesses are an integral part of North Devon and as an area we are truly entrepreneurial. As they say from small acorns grow big oak trees and this is very true of a number of businesses in North Devon. North Devon+ supports the economic growth of the area by helping support existing and new businesses. Business support in general is going through a period of adjustment with changes to government policy. We are pro-active representing the area's needs at National and Local level along with bidding for and securing monies to help develop and support the businesses in the North Devon area.
Support to North Devon businesses is available in a number of ways through North Devon+ and we continue to develop further opportunities and bid writing to enable us to deliver and attract more support for the area.
Business Signposting
It can be hard for businesses to know where to go for the exact support you need for your business. Our accredited business advisors at North Devon+ are able to signpost you to current and relevant business support and funding opportunities.
Business Advice
North Devon+ is able to offer a range of business advice services including support with business planning, marketing, financials (including breakeven, cashflow forecasts, profit and loss forecasts) and one to one advisory sessions.
Business Support Network
The local Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Business (FSB), North Devon Manufacturers Association, business associations and networks meet regularly with North Devon+ helping us all to work together, facilitating good communication with businesses in the area. This enables businesses to find out more about business support and funding available locally, regionally and nationally, it helps us accurately understand business requirements and represent their views.
